Configuring Outlook 2002(XP)

When you first open your outlook application, find the “Tools” drop down menue and select “Email Accounts.”

In the Window that opens, and under the subtitle “E-mail,” select the option “Add a new e-mail account”

Then click “Next”

In the Window that opens up, “Server Type,” select “IMAP”

Then click “Next”

In the next window that opens “Internet E-mail Settings (IMAP),” complete all fields

Then click on “More Settings”

In the window that opens up, select the “Advanced” tab and check off “This server requires a secure connection (SSL)” both for the “Incoming Server (IMAP):” and “Outgoing Server (SMTP):”

Click “OK”

This brings you back to the “Internet E-mail Settings (IMAP)” window

Click “Next”

And then “Finish”
