Use By Organizations Outside of Rutgers

Collaboration with organizations outside of Rutgers is often established during a programmatic endeavor.
Frequently, these activities require use of a computer instructional classroom for a short time. Use of the classrooms for such situations will be permitted according to the following guidelines

First priority for use of the instructional labs will always be given to Rutgers' students, courses, and functions. Only unscheduled lab time may be scheduled for use by outside organizations.

A Rutgers faculty member or staff member must sponsor use of the lab by an outside organization. The faculty or staff sponsor must request use of the instructional labs through the normal scheduling processes.
Please review "Lab Reservations" for further informaton.   If the sponsor needs assistance, the sponsor should contact the departmental technical coordinator, or the NCS Help Desk (973-353-5083).

It is the responsibility of the faculty or staff sponsor to fully describe the reason for the request and use of the lab by the outside organization.


Charges for use of technology labs apply as follows
Non-profit organizations with an established alignment with a university program may be granted free use of the labs upon presentation of supporting documentation.  Rates include use of computers, access to the Internet, and technical consultant support.

Non-Profit Rate $50 per half day
Market Rate $50 per hour
