On the Newark Campus you have access to three different web servers on which you may post your web pages. These servers are: Andromeda, Pegasus, and the Campus Web Server (also known as www.newark.rutgers.edu). But which one can you use? That is the question on many peoples minds. This document will provide the answers.

Andromeda:   For use by Faculty & Staff

• Non-Departmental

Pegasus:   For use by Students & Student Organizations

• Informational
• Student Clubs & Organizations

Campus Web Server:  For use by Departments, Colleges, and RU Institutes

Types of web pages you may post there:

• Official RU Departmental, College, and RU Institute pages
• College and Institute web sites
• Streaming Video Web Pages (Real Audio)

Note: All requests for a Departmental web account on the campus web server must be approved by the Director of Newark Computing Services.
