| Windows 2000 Software Configuration for Wireless |

Follow the steps to configure your laptop to work on the wireless network. Step 1. Click on "Start", select Settings" and then "Control Panel"
Step 2. Double-click on the "Networking and Dial-up Connections" icon
Step 3. Right click on your wireless network connection and select "Properties".
Step 4. Click on "Configure" in the Wireless Properties window
Step 5. Select the "Advanced" tab and then "SSID" in the "Property" window. Type RUCS-N-WLAN in the value box and then click OK.
Step 6. Select "Internet Protocol" (TCP/IP) then click on the "Properties" button.
Step 7. Both options should be set to obtain an address automatically. Click on "OK" for this window and then "OK" for the Wireless Properties window.
